Denark served as CM At-Risk on the Ruth & Steve West Workforce Development Center located on Pellissippi State’s Blount County Campus in Friendsville. The 51,000 SF facility also includes space for TCAT Knoxville and a Corporate Training Center for business and industry partners.

The center was designed to prepare students for high-demand, high-skilled careers such as culinary arts, industrial maintenance/mechatronics, welding, hospitality management, electrical engineering, IT, and more. The center also provides adult education programs, high school certificate pathways, and serves as home to the Blount County Robotics team.
