After sitting empty for a few years, the building where Patrick Sullivan’s bar and restaurant once stood was purchased for a major renovation. The directive of the new owner was simple: restore this once-regal building back to its original glory.

Denark served as CM At-Risk for the complete restoration of the historic landmark. The building’s facade was renovated, while the interior received all new MEP systems and finishes.

Built in 1889, this building is now a contributing property within both the Jackson Avenue Warehouse Historic District and the Southern Terminal and Warehouse Historic District.

“We have recently bought and restored a historical landmark for Knoxville, Patrick Sullivan’s Saloon, and this company was the perfect choice for this endeavor. This building was in terrible repair, and not only did it require major structural work, but we also wanted to stay within its historical parameters.  Denark was extremely helpful in guiding us through this process.”
