Denark served as General Contractor for the Lincoln County Jail Addition and Renovation. The addition included 100 beds, as well as expansion plans for future beds, sheriff’s office, booking, prisoner intake area, and court facilities to turn the jail into a justice center. As part of this expansion, the existing kitchen was upgraded to meet prisoner population demand and several areas were renovated to provide more security.
Lincoln County Jail had substantial needs for bedding space for females and males in a dormitory setting, as well as juvenile holding. The project expanded the medical facilities, upgraded kitchen operations, expanded booking intake, and added a new vehicular sallyport. The project was particularly challenging as work had to be carefully phased to accommodate security precautions.
“The Lincoln Co. Jail recently underwent a $7.1 million addition. Denark Construction was the contractor chosen to do this addition. It is my pleasure to recommend them to anyone who is interested in any type of addition, new build, or renovation. At the end of this project, the time, effort, and thought they had put into their work was obvious with the quality of work and the quality of the finished product we received.”
