Denark served as Construction Manager on the project which is a 100,000 SF single-story pre-engineered structure containing the printing and production facility contiguous to a 78,000 SF two-story steel-framed structure containing the corporate offices, administrative support, IT systems, and interactive classrooms and conference rooms.

Denark worked extensively with the Owner and Design Team to achieve over $600,000 in cost reductions needed to meet the budget due to the fact that the building program requirements increased the building size from 165,000 SF to 178,000 SF.

To accommodate the requirement of having the facility ready to receive the state-of-the-art press, Denark identified, and awarded early, the release of packages for caissons and structural steel. This reduced the construction schedule by six (6) weeks. The German manufacturer of the $32 Million press stated that this was the first time in their history that a building was actually completed on time to receive their equipment when scheduled.

“Since we built both an office and production facility, Denark’s value engineering and aggressive estimating was critical to our overall thought and construction process. I highly recommend Denark Construction and their qualified staff for any type of project of this scope.”
