Position Summary:

Provides technical support to Project Managers and Field Superintendents to ensure all related construction activities are performed within accepted practices and standards.

Education:

B.S. in engineering, or related construction discipline, or the equivalent in management of construction, design or finance.

Experience:

If degreed, two years’ experience, four years if not degreed.  Must have proven management insight to maximize employee productivity and performance.  Has complete understanding of company and industry practices, processes, and standards. 

Responsibilities:

• Follow and maintain general instructions and guidelines regarding the operation and functionality of the engineering department.
• Process, check and approve all shop drawings and related submittals for each assigned construction project.
• Assist in maintaining in-house project management databases for engineering disciplines for assigned projects.
• Maintain and distribute all contract drawings, addenda, specifications, Request for Proposals and Request for Information for assigned projects.
• Assist Project Manager with schedule updates.
• Assist Project Manager with processing all changes to the project.
