Dawna brings over two decades of expertise in financial management and accounting operations to her role at Denark, helping the company continue its fiscally conservative approach to financial controls. She blends her technical acumen with hands-on leadership to ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency. Dawna leverages her background in financial planning and process optimization to the construction industry to ensure that Denark continues to deliver Superior Execution in its commercial construction projects. Dawna is directly responsible for project financial reviews, internal auditing, and the adherence to full transparency of our financial reports. She oversees all company financial planning, budgeting, data analytics, and aspects of human relations including payroll and benefits. She is our main contact for our outside auditor and provides timely reports and information for our banking and surety relationships.

Before joining Denark, Dawna held key leadership roles at Warner Bros. Discovery (formerly Discovery, Inc. and Scripps Networks Interactive). She specialized in managing complex content and talent accounting functions, leading initiatives that streamlined processes, integrated systems, and drove significant cost and time savings. Notably, she directed critical M&A transitions and implemented new accounting standards, demonstrating her ability to navigate high-pressure, large-scale projects with precision.
