Park improvements included comprehensive redevelopment with landscape and hardscape enhancements including plazas, waterfalls, pools, pathways, and pedestrian bridges. The project included major rebuilding, restoring, and widening of the historic Clinch Avenue Bridge, and further included the installation of the Second Creek interceptor sewer line, replacing sections of the existing “brick” sewer that was over 100 years old with a new thermoplastic pipe material.
